Day 1

After your midday arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel and have time to acclimatize. Enjoy ambling through and dining in Prague with a local guide.

Day 2

After a fortifying breakfast, learn more of the history and culture of Prague as you stroll around the city with your private guide. Enjoy finding a fantastic lunch, then thoroughly explore Prague Castle and other nearby attractions. End the day dining at the Strahov Monastery’s brewery and enjoy a pint of their specially brewed St. Norbert Ale. Find your way back across the river for a welcome rest.

Day 3

Today is all about Czech art – including an art nouveau and cubism walk, and several of the intimate galleries in the city. End the day with a gourmet a la carte dining experience as you sail down the Vltava, admiring the spotlighted architecture.

Day 4

Today’s highlights include a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Site Český Krumlov in south Czechia. You’ll return to Prague with plenty of time to take another leisurely stroll across the Charles Bridge, or try dinner at one of the hidden restaurants you learned about from your guide when you arrived.

Day 5

Choose to start your day early with a half-day small group tour to Kutná Hora: become acquainted with the soaring Gothic architecture of St. Barbara’s Cathedral, as well as the macabre Victorian era ossuary, Sedlec Ossuary (one of the most visited sites in the Czech Republic). Afterwards be sure to savor the included lunch, and enjoy your free afternoon: relax, explore, or shop. Or sleep in, and after a free morning and lunch on your own, join a small group to see the crown jewels and other Czech treasures at Karlštejn Castle. Whatever you decide to do, head to sleep early – tomorrow an exciting adventure awaits!

Day 6

Fresh air, hikes, gondola-style sailing, and mountain vistas await today with a trip to the “Switzerland of Bohemia”, in the far north of the Czech Republic (lunch included).  When you return to Prague in the evening, enjoy the dinner of your choosing, and pack – you’ll head to the spa town of Karlovy Vary tomorrow. 

Day 7

Enjoy the spa culture at Karlovy Vary after arriving early afternoon on a Czech train and checking into your historic lodging – we will book your treatments for you. 

Day 8

Your last full day in Czechia, enjoy exploring this historic town, relaxing in the mineral waters, scheduling a massage to relax your tired body, or getting in a little more shopping.

Day 9

Bidding Karlovy Vary “Ahoj” (goodbye), you’ll be whisked early morning in a private transfer to the airport for your departure.
