Replenish your body, mind, and soul on a health and wellness journey to three Polish towns. During your trip, you’ll enjoy spa treatments, participate in wellness activities in a salt mine (even sleep in a salt cave one night if you’d like), hike or ski in the Tatras mountains, and relax in geothermal waters. You’ll soothe your soul visiting Wieliczka’s salt mine, and slow down and regain your human being (not human doing) immersed in the Tatras Mountains’ majesty. Finally, you’ll head to 1000-year old Krakow, Poland’s first capital. You’ll discover exquisite medieval architecture and art, and soaring religious structures with a personal guide, and get an introduction to traditional Polish cuisine at one of Krakow’s leading restaurants.

Day 1

Arrive at Krakow’s John Paul II-Balice Airport in the afternoon, and ride comfortably in your private car to your four-star lodging in Wieliczka. After checking in to your lodging, you can enjoy a stroll around this bucolic town and acclimate. Optionally, you can use the jacuzzi or sauna area (extra fee applies). In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at your lodging.

Day 2

Participate in Healthy Day wellness activities inside the Wieliczka Salt Mine in the morning and early afternoon, then enjoy your choice of spa treatments. Explore the area to your heart’s content.

Day 3

Your second day to participate in Healthy Day wellness activities inside the Wieliczka Salt Mine in the morning, then enjoy another spa treatment. Prepare to bid this beautiful area farewell tomorrow.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, tour the Wieliczka Salt Mine’s tourist and museum routes. After lunch, you’ll head to Zakopane, and check into your hotel. You’ll have time for a brief stroll around town before a welcome dinner and bedtime.

Day 5

On your first day in the foothills of the Tatra mountains, you’ll commune with nature on a guided hike in Tatras National Park or on the ski runs, and enjoy the spa features of your lodging in the evening.

Day 6

You’ll get up early for a bracing and beautiful half-day sleigh ride through the Chocholowy valley before exploring the town of Zakopane (winter). Or you’ll ride a cable car to the top of the nearest mountain for the views (summer), then explore Zakopane to your heart’s content. Be sure to retire early, because…

Day 7

Early this morning, you’ll head to one of the foremost thermal bath spas in the Zakopane region for a day of relaxing and renewing – using the thermal pools, whirlpools, saunas, and more.

Day 8

In the morning, you’ll bid adieu to Zakopane’s bucolic pleasures, and take the train to Krakow. Once there, you’ll check into your Old Town lodging, and have time to explore the main square.

Day 9

This morning meet your personal guide and enjoy a half-day history ramble around Old Krakow. In the afternoon, explore more of Old Town and further afield on your own- consider the Old Synagogue, Oskar Schindler’s Factory, and the City Defense Walls archaeological museum. This evening, learn about historical Polish cuisine with a tasting menu at Pod Aniolami.

Day 10

Today, walk through the Rynek Underground archeological museum and Krzysztofory Palace museums, and afterward, join a small group to tour Wawel Castle. In the evening, try a nightcap at Mercy Brown, one of Krakow’s “hidden” bars that offers not only original cocktails, but also a glimpse into pre-World War II Poland.

Day 11

Bid Poland “do widzenia” (goodbye) as you depart Krakow, refreshed and restored in mind, body, and spirit, in your private car to the airport.
